3D Printing

3D Printing In-house

Getting your product and tooling ideas into physical form quickly greatly speeds the product development process. Garon Plastics uses a 3D printer to produce 3D models in-house.

3D printing is available as a separate service from Garon, and also as part of tooling, injection moulding or product development programmes.

3D printing is widely used to explore product concepts, prove the integrity of CAD files, test the assembly conditions of mating parts, improve communications with decision makers and produce marketing samples. It can also be used to make short runs of parts for some purposes.

Other uses of 3D printing include the use of printed parts as forms for casting processes, inserts in moulded parts, assembly aids and jigs.

We'd love to discuss how 3D printing can improve your product development.
